This is a pivotal opportunity for an experienced CFO to partner with the CEO and investors to lead financial strategy, upgrade infrastructure, and drive continued expansion.
The Opportunity
The CFO will be the strategic and operational finance leader for the organisation, responsible for transforming the finance function, enabling scalable decision-making, and building the financial architecture needed for the next stage of growth.
The role is suited to a commercial, hands-on finance executive with a proven background in private equity environments and experience navigating complex integration, systems upgrades, and value-creation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Control
- Lead all financial operations including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and compliance.
- Establish robust financial controls, governance frameworks, and scalable processes for a multi-entity environment.
- Elevate reporting, analytical capability, and data quality across the organisation.
Process & Systems Transformation
- Drive the modernisation of finance systems, workflows, and data architecture.
- Implement automation, standardisation, and operational excellence across finance and adjacent functions.
- Support the transition toward a unified technology and reporting stack as the business consolidates.
M&A, Due Diligence & Integration
- Lead financial due diligence, modelling, valuation analysis, and synergy assessment for ongoing acquisition activity.
- Oversee post-acquisition integration across finance, systems, reporting, and operational structures.
- Partner with corporate development and the PE sponsor to shape M&A strategy and value-creation priorities.
Strategic Partner to CEO & Board
- Serve as a key advisor to the CEO on growth strategy, capital allocation, and long-term planning.
- Communicate financial performance and strategic insights clearly to Board and investor stakeholders.
- Play a central role in the overall value-creation plan, driving initiatives to enhance margins, efficiency and scale.
Leadership & Talent Development
- Build and develop a high-performing finance organisation.
- Establish a culture of commercial partnership, discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Influence cross-functionally to ensure alignment on financial priorities and operational execution.
Experience & Qualifications
Required
- Experience as a CFO or senior finance leader within a private equity–backed business.
- Experience working under a brokerage-style model
- Demonstrated ability to scale an organisation through significant growth phases.
- Strong background in M&A, due diligence, integration, and financial restructuring.
- Proven success modernising finance functions and implementing scalable systems and processes.
Preferred
- Experience within technology, IT services, managed services, or other recurring-revenue business models.
- Exposure to public-company reporting or IPO readiness.
- Background in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or strategic finance.
