About the Role
We are looking for a high-performing Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and governance of our organization. The ideal candidate must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) and have successfully led a company through an Initial Public Offering (IPO) and listing process.
The CFO will play a key leadership role, partnering with the CEO and Board to shape financial strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive growth through prudent financial management and capital efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Financial Leadership
- Define and implement the financial strategy aligned with long-term business objectives.
- Drive business transformation, profitability, and capital efficiency through strategic financial planning.
- Lead all finance, accounting, and audit functions ensuring robust internal controls and compliance.
IPO & Capital Markets
- Mandatory: Successfully led at least one company through the IPO process and public listing.
- Oversee end-to-end IPO execution including financial restructuring, regulatory filings, due diligence, and investor communication.
- Manage ongoing post-listing compliances and investor relations.
- Collaborate with merchant bankers, SEBI, auditors, and legal advisors to ensure flawless execution.
Financial Management & Operations
- Manage financial reporting, FP&A, treasury, taxation, budgeting, and statutory audits.
- Implement internal control systems, risk management frameworks, and corporate governance policies.
- Drive cost optimization, working capital management, and resource allocation to maximize returns.
Fund Raising & Investor Relations
- Raise funds through equity, debt, or hybrid instruments; negotiate with financial institutions and investors.
- Build and manage strong investor relations, ensuring transparent communication and trust.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and business restructuring as required.
Leadership & Team Development
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee implementation of ERP/financial systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) for automation and accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience (Mandatory)
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
- Must have successfully led at least one company through a full IPO and listing process
- 10–20 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles (preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or allied industries)
- Proven track record in fund raising, corporate governance, financial planning, and stakeholder management
- Strong command over taxation, compliance, audit, and reporting standards
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
Preferred Background
- Experience working with listed companies or large-scale private enterprises preparing for listing
- Hands-on experience with SAP / Oracle ERP systems
- Exposure to private equity, debt structuring, or cross-border funding
