Position Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a strategic partner to ownership and a key member of the executive team, overseeing all financial, accounting, and treasury functions while building the infrastructure to support rapid growth. This is a hands-on leadership role for a finance executive who can pair strategic vision with operational execution—driving financial performance, capital strategy, and scalable systems in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and long-range modeling to support growth and stability.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital structure; oversee banking relationships, debt facilities, and treasury operations.
- Build and maintain financial models and metrics that drive visibility, accountability, and data-informed decision-making.
- Provide strategic analysis and partnership to leadership on investments, acquisitions, and other key initiatives.
- Oversee accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting in compliance with GAAP; ensure strong internal controls and scalable systems.
- Direct audits, tax strategy, and risk management activities, coordinating with external advisors to ensure compliance and protect company assets.
- Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks; establish governance frameworks that support disciplined growth.
- Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial objectives with broader business strategy and operational execution.
Education and Qualifications:
- 12+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 in a leadership capacity.
- Expertise in FP&A, treasury, and capital markets; experience in public accounting or private equity preferred.
- Background in real estate, construction, or other capital-intensive sectors highly desirable.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution skills and attention to detail.
- Hands-on, collaborative leader known for integrity, judgment, and communication.
