Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial operations and strategy at a leading Senior Care operator. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of corporate accounting, financial planning, and business development. As a key member of the executive team, the CFO will play a critical role in shaping the company's future by ensuring financial stability and enabling EBITDA growth through inspired fiscal leadership.

The organization has revenues in excess of $500m, delivered via just over 100 Senior care centers - most of which are Skilled Nursing and Post-acute facilities, with some also offering Assisted Living and specialty care. Given the highly specialized nature of this market, we are seeking a CFO with extensive experience operating within Senior care. The successful applicant will be able to guide their operational counterparts, based on key financial drivers, helping identify opportunities to increase revenues and reduce expenses.

Responsibilities

Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
Develop and implement strategic financial plans that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
Lead negotiations for financial agreements and contracts to optimize business opportunities.
Manage corporate accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial statements and reports.
Collaborate with other executives to drive business development initiatives that enhance revenue growth.
Supervise the finance team, providing leadership and guidance to foster professional development.
Analyze financial performance metrics to identify trends and make informed decisions for improvement.
Ensure effective use of financial software systems for reporting and analysis purposes.

Experience

Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior financial leadership role.
Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles, technical accounting standards, and financial regulations.
Degree in Accounting essential, with CPA preferable.
Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and business development initiatives.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results.
Proficient in using advanced financial software for analysis and reporting purposes.
Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management.
