The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for working directly with the CEO and Sales team (Sales Coordinator & Marketing Operations Coordinator) to drive sales through marketing & event promotions. The Sales Ops Manager will support the CEO with showcases, menu of services updates, partnership discussions, vendor research and marketing enews and web site sales enhancements, helping to support our 50 markets in a big way as we expand and grow with our event planning partners and hotels.
Job Description
· Oversee marketing contacts in database and strategy for outreach, including monthly enewsletters and sales content included in the enews campaign
· Support CEO with sales material creation, including quarterly updates of the sales deck and menu
· Support proposal development including creation of new templates with updates images and programs
· Lead strategy and planning on quarterly virtual showcases and bi-annual in-person showcase for clients and potential clients
- Manage multiple sales presentations each week including coordinating the calendars, promo items/gifts and being part of or running the sales presentation using the Fit City menu and materials
· Develop sales content plan to be used across channels including enews, blog, social and potential ads
· Use content in SEO plan, ads and web site updates
· Assist CEO in promotional appearances, panel speaking opportunities and PR opportunities
· Oversee networking opportunity events and organizational sponsorship calendar to drive sales
· Seek out new, exciting, cutting-edge activities and vendors that align with the Fit City brand and their corporate clients to include in quarterly sales deck.
· Assist in marketing plan execution including:
- Branding and competitor research
- Update web site where applicable including SEO
- Oversee social media strategy and engagement across multiple platforms (LinkedIn, IG/FB, YouTube, TikTok)
- Day-to-day tasks include:
- Proposal development in PandaDoc
- Sales Pipeline tracking & Marketing oversight in HubSpot
- Content development for social media – social posting & engagement on Later.com
Requirements:
- 5-10 years in a sales role in hospitality (hotel, DMC, event space) with large clients
- Knowledge of sales CRM (HubSpot) and project management software (Monday.com)
- Obsessed with AI, design and social media and tools like ChatGPT and Canva
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and proactively prioritize a busy workload
- Experience in Southern California event industry sales as well as national expansion and outreach
- Proactive solution-focused hard worker who exemplifies our core values and wellness focus first
- A passion for connections and networking, including involvement in organizations like SITE, MPI and ILEA
- Thrives in a team and ability to oversee and work with team members in multiple time zones to support sales goals
