We specialize in selling high-quality used vehicles and providing exceptional service to our customers. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a dynamic and strategic CFO to join our leadership team and oversee the financial operations of Truck Ranch and related entities.
Position Overview:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a critical role in managing the financial health of Truck Ranch and its affiliated companies. This individual will be responsible for financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting. The CFO will also provide leadership and guidance in the areas of budgeting, accounting, and strategic financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute the overall financial strategy for Truck Ranch and its affiliated entities. Provide strategic financial insights to the CEO and leadership team.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements and reports. Analyze financial performance, prepare forecasts, and provide recommendations for improving profitability.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, track financial performance against budgets, and ensure financial targets are met across all entities.
- Accounting & Compliance: Manage all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Oversee tax reporting, audits, and other financial compliance matters.
- Cash Flow Management: Ensure effective cash management, oversee capital expenditures, manage banking relationships, and secure necessary financing for business operations and growth.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and manage the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks and opportunities for all business entities. Implement controls to mitigate risks and protect the financial health of the company.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or similar senior finance role, preferably in an automotive or multi-location business.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, regulatory standards, and financial management practices.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence and drive business decisions.
- Experience managing financial operations for multiple entities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data in a clear and actionable manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA, MBA, or other advanced credentials preferred).
- Experience with financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment.
