We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team in Hauppauge, New York. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in financial management and extensive expertise in the non-profit sector. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen and leadership skills to drive organizational success.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Develop and implement financial strategies that align with organizational goals.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, board members, and external partners.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards within the non-profit industry.
Utilize systems such as Sage Intacct to maintain accurate financial records and reporting.
Collaborate with department heads to optimize resource allocation and efficiency.
Lead the evaluation and management of health insurance and other employee benefits.
Monitor inbound inquiries and ensure timely and effective responses.
Strengthen organizational relationships by building and maintaining trust with stakeholders.
Provide guidance to the executive team on financial decisions and long-term planning.
Minimum of 7 years of financial leadership experience, preferably within the non-profit sector.
Expertise in using Sage Intacct or similar financial systems.
Proven ability to manage health insurance and employee benefits programs.
Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements for non-profits.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Effective communication skills to convey financial information to diverse audiences.
