Position Overview

The CFO will oversee all financial operations and serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, driving financial strength, system improvements, and organizational transformation within a complex, government-funded environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead finance and accounting, ensuring accuracy, controls, and compliance
Partner with leadership on strategy, planning, and decision-making
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Manage audits, external partners, and regulatory requirements
Oversee billing and reimbursement, including Medicaid
Improve systems, processes, and reporting capabilities
Lead and develop the finance team
Manage grants, contracts, and funding sources

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA preferred
10+ years of financial leadership experience
Healthcare, nonprofit, or human services experience preferred
Strong Medicaid billing and reimbursement experience required
Knowledge of OMIG and regulatory compliance
Experience with system improvements or transformations
Strong leadership and communication skills

Garden City, NY (onsite)
$175K–$200K total package
