Why this role exists — the Big Challenges
Manus AI is looking into enterprise-grade AI automation.
Your mission is to build recurring enterprise revenue by solving three knotty problems at once:
Find the real, repeatable pain. Separate wish-list features from must-solve blockers across industries awash in AI hype.
Land lighthouse logos fast. Win the first 10 customers while security, compliance, and ROI proof points are still nascent.
Close the feedback loop. Translate messy enterprise requirements (SSO, data residency, granular RBAC) into a crisp product roadmap, without slowing engineering velocity.
If that sounds exhilarating rather than terrifying, read on.
What you’ll do
0-3 months — Customer Discovery
- Conduct 15+ exec-level interviews distill 3 repeatable use cases
- Design and run lightweight POCs with < 2-week turnaround
3-6 months — Deal Execution
- Convert 5-10 lighthouse customers
- Build reference case studies showing clear productivity lift/cost savings
6-12 months — Scale Foundations
- Stand up self-serve GTM stack (CRM, pricing, MSAs, security docs)
- Recruit & mentor first AE/SE cohort; hand off repeatable playbook
We want people that…
Run toward ambiguity. You’ve built 0 1 enterprise pipelines where no deck, ICP list existed on day one.
Speak both Boardroom & Terminal. Comfortably switch between ROI language with CFOs and API/perf discussions with architects.
Treat customers like co-designers. You probe for truth, document rigorously, and advocate for “must-have vs. nice-to-have.”
Own the number. Pipeline hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and hitting revenue goals are second nature.
Bias to action, but measure. You prototype offerings quickly, then kill or double-down based on data.
Model integrity. Enterprise buyers trust you with their roadmap, budgets, and occasionally their political capital.
Thrive in a one-person-army phase, yet love building teams.
Nice-to-haves (but not deal-breakers)
