The Team
The Go-to-Market Leader will collaborate with A&M’s leadership to drive market strategies across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, with the role based ideally in Singapore, Malaysia or Indonesia. The candidate must have extensive experience in developing marketing strategies, PR and agency management, media engagement, and internal communications, with a strong focus on Southeast Asia.
Key qualifications include a proven track record of working with media outlets and agencies in the region, supported by established relationships. Responsibilities include leading market and media engagement efforts and developing an internal marketing support model by leveraging existing resources within the firm. This role demands an entrepreneurial self-starter capable of executing immediate priorities while shaping the region's future growth.
How you will contribute
Market Strategy and Planning:
Understand A&M’s global positioning and regional market and priorities.
Identify market opportunities to promote A&M in the region.
Develop promotional strategies and plans to create brand awareness and market engagement.
Work with leaders to identify potential market opportunities and engage media outlets.
Promotional Campaigns, Content & PR:
Create and oversee promotional campaign strategies, content recommendations, and PR/media strategies.
Work with Global Marketing teams to implement and execute strategies and plans and assess performance.
Develop and execute media relations strategies and plans.
Engage priority media outlets and work with local agencies to secure placement and promotion.
Implement digital marketing initiatives including website, social media, and other digital channels and presence.
Internal Communications:
Provide leadership and direction for internal communications across all personnel in the region, working closely with leadership to implement proper cadence for communications, forums and channels.
Maintain visibility and recurring meetings with senior stakeholders.
Build consensus and operate as a trusted adviser on go-to-market topics
Guide and execute internal communications, forums, and channels.
Collaboration and Compliance:
Maintain visibility and recurring meetings with multiple senior stakeholders, building consensus and operating as a trusted adviser relative to go-to-market topics and priorities.
Work with global and regional campaign and PR team members to implement and assess promotional strategies.
Ensure compliance with A&M’s brand and market standards.
Maintain relationships across A&M’s matrix of go-to-market team members for consistency in market-facing positioning and activities.
Qualifications
Experience:
10 or more years of experience in marketing campaigns, promotions, PR, and media relations.
Multiple years working in a global, matrixed, professional services organization (consulting preferred).
Proven track record of creating impactful strategies that engage local clients, media, and talent.
Skills:
Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing, account-based marketing, cross-selling, account management, PR, and media relations.
Ability to build consensus and connect with leaders.
Strong communication skills, including the creation of executive summary communications.
