Ahmed Group is currently seeking an intellectual, dynamic, and highly motivated CFO. The CFO will work closely with the CEO and COO to strategically lead the company to meet its growth goals. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start and or move into the lead CFO role, leading a fast and quickly expanding real estate development company in the Greater Toronto Area. Must be able to lead by example and set high standards. The ideal CFO will be energetic, positive, and personable with the ability to motivate a team and emphasize the importance of providing high levels of efficiency, productivity, and thorough production.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities
- Ensure company policies and legal guidelines
- Oversee the company’s financial performance, investments, and other business ventures
- Raising funds from local and foreign investors through exempt market Equity and Debt fundraising and implementing tax efficient capital structures for new acquisitions to support the Company's ambitious growth plans.
- Identify business opportunities for scaling up growth profitably
- Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth
- Oversight of Financial Performance, accounting, and audit of the company. Decision making driven by IRR
- Supporting the company in it's Global Expansion and assisting with the set up of international organizational structures in a tax compliant manner.
- Setting up a Performance Monitoring system, making Annual Operating Plans, variance analysis, driving business insights etc.
- Management of Insurance, Taxation, and representing the Company with applicable Regulatory authorities
- Dealing with Customers, Vendors, Suppliers for pricing, collection, and payment related matters
Skills requirements/ Work experience:
- 5+ years related experience, in a similar executive position.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, accounting or other related discipline.
- Previous experience in raising funds through exempt market Equity / Debt fund structures
- Previous experience managing high growth companies, managing Working Capital and Capital Expenditure requiring strong analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of international laws, global taxation practices, double taxation avoidance agreements and exchange control regulations as the growth is going to be driven through various geographies.
- Successful performance in managing multiple projects
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, and worldwide delegation skills, with strong organizational capabilities and focus
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and networking skills
- Passionate with customer satisfaction, focusing on raising the service standards.
