JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) manages and coordinates the financial affairs of District, directs general business operations, accounting, and statistical reporting activities of Olympic Medical Center (OMC). This position implements systems to identify and control the income and expenditures within OMC including Olympic Memorial Hospital, Olympic Medical Home Health, Olympic Medical Physicians, Olympic Medical Cancer Center, and all outpatient services. The CFO consults with and advises Administration regarding methods for general increased revenues and controlling operational costs in relation to long-term goals of OMC, market trends, and status of the community. The CFO oversees OMC Heart Center and manages Information Services (IS) at OMC (which includes Information Technology and Clinical Informatics & Applications departments) and helps to establish IS strategic direction, and performs duties of Internal Auditor pursuant to RCW 70.44.171.
EDUCATION

Master’s degree in Business Administration or related area, or equivalent in experience

CPA preferred
EXPERIENCE
Ten years’ financial management experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Minimum of five years’ supervision of management level personnel experience required
