Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to support our operations through data-driven insights and strategic analysis. This role will focus on rebate management and protesting, chargeback analysis, and sales performance evaluation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial and sales data, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources (ERP, CRM, sales platforms).
- Develop dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs, sales trends, and operational performance.
- Identify data anomalies and provide actionable insights to improve business processes.
Rebate Management & Protesting
- Review and validate rebate claims submitted by customers and partners.
- Analyze rebate agreements and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
- Prepare and submit rebate protests with supporting documentation and analysis.
Charge Protesting
- Investigate chargebacks and deductions from customers.
- Collaborate with finance and sales teams to resolve disputes and recover revenue.
- Maintain detailed records of charge protests and outcomes.
Sales Analysis
- Analyze sales performance across customers, commodities, and segments.
- Support forecasting and budgeting processes with historical data and trend analysis.
- Provide insights to sales leadership to optimize strategies and drive growth.
May be cross-trained to support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions during employee absences or peak periods, ensuring continuity of financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in a sales or finance environment.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong understanding of rebate and chargeback processes.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms.
- Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
