Job Overview:
We are looking for an Entry-Level Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and support the development of solutions that improve efficiency and deliver value. This position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are eager to grow their skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and business process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Process Analysis & Improvement
- Map and evaluate end-to-end business processes across operations and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with customer service managers to optimize processes, workflows, and training.
- Identify root causes of recurring customer issues and provide actionable and scalable recommendations.
- Recommend and document scalable improvements that increase efficiency and quality
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
- Translate business needs into detailed requirements for process changes (and system updates to implement new processes).
- Assist Support team with the monitoring/handling of escalations, monthly invoice prep, and consumer credit/chargebacks.
- Create process flows, use cases, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Project & Change Support
- Contribute to project planning, coordination, and execution of operational initiatives primarily focused on Customer Support and helping our merchant partners.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and operations teams to ensure business needs are met.
- Track and monitor progress, ensuring requirements are met and deliverables achieved.
- Support change management by documenting impacts and communicating with stakeholders.
- Help maintain documentation of business processes, workflows, and requirements.
- Participate in testing and validating solutions to confirm they meet requirements.
Data & Insights
- Support the development of reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings.
- Work with our Data & Insights team, collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to generate actionable insights.
- Work with our Data & Insights team, develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting for operations leadership.
- Work with our Data & Insights team and Operations leaders, support decision-making with fact-based recommendations.
Success Metrics
- Reduction in process cycle times and error rates.
- Improvement in KPI reporting accuracy and timeliness.
- Increased automation and system adoption across teams.
- Positive stakeholder satisfaction with analysis and recommendations.
- Successful delivery of operational initiatives on time and within scope.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets; familiarity with Looker, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Internship, coursework, or project experience related to business analysis or process improvement.
- Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies.
- Basic understanding of databases, systems, or software development life cycle (SDLC).
