Chief Financial Officer
Location – Florida, USA, with some travel required
Salary – $200-2240k basic salary + up to 100% bonus, plus share options and a comprehensive package.
STOIX | Certified B Corp™ is partnering with a purpose-driven, profitable manufacturing business to appoint a CFO who will join the leadership team and be an agent of change. The business is a small to mid-sized enterprise which operates independently but is backed by a larger group.
The role also acts as a strategic partner to the CEO and plays a critical role in the strategy of the business, as well as supporting M&A due diligence and integrations.
Role responsibilities:
- Provide tactical and strategic financial leadership and serve as a hands-on financial leader overseeing the financial integrity of the organisation.
- Deliver commercial insights, competitive and operational analyses, budgeting, and forecasting to inform strategic and tactical decisions.
- Translate financial and strategic information and objectives into clear, actionable plans.
- Leading and developing a small end-to-end finance function.
- Ensure accurate forecasting, financial accounting and reporting.
- Work closely with operations to improve forecast accuracy by getting a clear handle on manufacturing capacity, costs, process flow and optimisation.
- Maintain effective cost controls.
- Identify, resource and manage change and transformation to optimise business performance.
- Embed a data-driven culture within the organisation.
Personal Profile:
- A qualified accountant or equivalent US study/experience.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Experience in M&A is highly beneficial.
- Experience working in both SME and corporate environments is advantageous.
