About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer to join our executive team and lead our financial operations during an exciting period of growth. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring robust financial controls and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with business objectives
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
- Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to the CEO
- Drive financial modeling for business initiatives, investments.
Financial Operations & Management
- Oversee accounting, treasury, tax, and financial reporting functions
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and regulatory compliance
- Implement and maintain internal controls and risk management frameworks
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital structure optimization
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic initiatives
- Present financial results to stakeholders, investors, and board members
- Champion financial best practices across the organization
Growth & Investment Management
- Support fundraising activities and investor relations
- Evaluate potential partnerships, acquisitions, and strategic investments
- Oversee financial due diligence for business development opportunities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience with 5+ years in senior leadership roles
- Previous CFO or similar C-level financial leadership experience
- Strong background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
- Proven track record managing teams and driving organisational growth
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency in financial systems and analytics tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience in the IT services industry with deep understanding of:
- Project-based revenue recognition and billing models
- Managed services and subscription-based revenue streams
- Resource utilization metrics and project profitability analysis
- Offshore/onshore delivery model financials
- Technology infrastructure investments and depreciation
- Background with high-growth or scaling IT services organizations
- Experience managing financial operations across multiple geographies
- Knowledge of IT industry regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks
- Understanding of technology talent acquisition costs and retention economics
- Familiarity with client contract structures including time & materials, fixed-price, and outcome-based pricing
- International finance experience, particularly in global IT delivery models
- Experience with M&A transactions in the technology sector
- Strong investor relations background in technology companies
