Role Overview
We are hiring an experienced Oracle CPQ Developer to work as an Independent Consultant on enterprise-grade CPQ implementations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Oracle CPQ Cloud, hands-on experience in configuration, customization, integrations, and troubleshooting, and the ability to work directly with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-quality CPQ solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle CPQ Development & Customization
- Design, configure, and customize Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions based on business requirements
- Develop and maintain BML scripts, advanced formulas, and rule-based configurations
- Implement pricing logic, discounting rules, approvals, and complex product configurations
- Customize UI, document generation, and workflow processes
Integrations & Technical Design
- Develop and manage integrations between Oracle CPQ and other enterprise systems such as Oracle ERP, CRM, or third-party applications
- Work with REST/SOAP APIs for inbound and outbound integrations
- Ensure data consistency, performance, and security across integrated systems
Solution Design & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Participate in requirement gathering, technical design discussions, and solution walkthroughs
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions
- Provide technical guidance and best practices for Oracle CPQ implementations
Testing, Deployment & Support
- Perform unit testing, system testing, and support UAT activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve CPQ-related production issues
- Support enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance
- Ensure adherence to Oracle CPQ standards and best practices
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
- Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, and integration documents
- Support knowledge transfer sessions and handover documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have Skills :
- 6+ years of experience working as an Oracle CPQ Developer / Consultant
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle CPQ Cloud
- Expertise in BML scripting, advanced formulas, and rules engine
- Experience with Oracle CPQ integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
- Solid understanding of Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) processes
- Experience in CPQ product modeling, pricing, approvals, and document generation
Good To Have
- Experience integrating Oracle CPQ with Oracle Fusion ERP / Oracle CRM
- Knowledge of Order Management (OM) and Billing processes
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery models
- Oracle CPQ certification
