Stevens Auto Group is a fast-growing automotive retail network in Southern Connecticut. We’re looking for an experienced Automotive CFO to lead accounting and financial operations across multiple rooftops.
Role Overview
The CFO will oversee all dealership accounting functions, financial reporting, and internal controls. This person will ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while supporting executive leadership with strategic financial insights and growth planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly/annual financial statements and manufacturer reports.
- Manage A/R, A/P, payroll, reconciliations, and cash flow.
- Maintain internal controls and compliance with tax and audit requirements.
- Consolidate reporting across multiple stores and entities.
- Partner with ownership on budgeting, forecasting, acquisitions, and cost control.
- Lead, develop, and scale the accounting/finance team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred).
- 5+ years of dealership accounting/financial leadership.
- Strong knowledge of dealership financial statements and DMS systems (Tekion, CDK, Reynolds, etc.).
- Proven leadership and ability to operate in a multi-store growth environment.
