Serve on the Executive Team; partner closely with the CEO, COO, and Controller- Communicate effectively with staff and volunteer board members
- Oversee all financial operations across skilled nursing, residential care, adult day center, transportation, and assisted living
- Lead accounting functions including purchasing, tax, long-range planning, real estate, AP/AR, payroll, resident trust work, and the general ledger
- Monitor and analyze Medicare/Medicaid payor mix to maximize financial outcomes
- Produce financial statements and provide guidance for budgeting and forecasting
- Attend board meetings and sub-committee sessions; communicate financials clearly
- Ensure compliance, documentation accuracy, and all filing deadlines are met
Healthcare or Nonprofit experience or is required, ideally in nonprofit or hospital settings- Strong experience with Medicare/Medicaid and reimbursement structures
- Nonprofit background and grant experience strongly preferred
- Ability to support leadership initiatives and help strengthen the organization’s revenue pipeline
- Someone who can inspire change and adapt to evolving priorities
