LHH (Atlanta) is working with a well-established, multi-location healthcare platform on a search for a Chief Financial Officer. This is a highly visible executive leadership opportunity for a strategic finance leader to partner closely with the CEO and ownership to drive growth, scalability, and operational excellence.
The CFO will oversee all financial operations of the organization, lead a strong team, and play a critical role in shaping the company’s long-term strategy. Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of finance and accounting, including financial reporting, FP&A, treasury, and revenue cycle oversight
- Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team on growth initiatives and business decisions
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across the organization
- Drive financial analysis and performance metrics to support operational decision-making
- Manage relationships with lenders, investors, and external partners
- Lead audit process and ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements
- Oversee cash management, capital planning, and overall financial strategy
- Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team
- Identify and implement process improvements, systems enhancements, and scalability initiatives
- Support M&A activity, integrations, and strategic expansion efforts
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred)
- 12–15+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience
- Prior experience as a CFO or Divisional CFO within a multi-location healthcare or services environment strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of healthcare financial operations, including revenue cycle
- Experience working with private equity or investor-backed organizations is highly preferred
- Proven ability to operate at the executive level and influence strategic decisions
- Strong leadership and team development experience
