We are seeking a driven and organized Project Manager to lead the successful implementation and delivery of this game-changing platform.
Position Summary
As the Project Manager for our Millwork Configurator / CPQ Software, you’ll lead the cross-functional planning and execution of our platform’s development and rollout. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, sales, and millwork experts to ensure the configurator meets business requirements, technical specifications, and customer expectations — on time and within scope.
This is a critical role for someone with a deep understanding of project management best practices and an ability to bring structure to complex, highly customized products.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Own the full project lifecycle from discovery to go-live and post-launch support.
- Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, task assignments, and status reporting.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and project updates.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and roadblocks proactively.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and QA to ensure deliverables align with business goals.
- Coordinate with millwork experts, sales leaders, and manufacturing teams to capture accurate requirements.
- Serve as the main point of contact between internal teams and any third-party vendors or implementation partners.
Millwork-Focused Implementation
- Translate complex configuration rules (e.g., species, dimensions, finishes, panel styles) into project tasks.
- Ensure CPQ workflows support real-world sales, quoting, and manufacturing processes.
- Maintain alignment between software capabilities and millwork product constraints.
Communication & Documentation
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
- Communicate clearly and frequently with all parties to maintain alignment and transparency.
Post-Launch Optimization
- Support user onboarding, training coordination, and change management activities.
- Monitor platform performance and user feedback to inform iterative improvements.
Qualifications
- 4–7 years of project management experience, preferably in software development, digital tools, or ERP/CPQ implementations.
- Strong understanding of CPQ software, configurators, or quoting systems.
- Experience in the millwork, building materials, manufacturing, or construction supply industries is highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
- Ability to work cross-functionally and lead diverse teams toward shared goals.
Preferred Experience
- Prior work with millwork products (e.g., doors, trim, windows) or custom fabrication.
- Understanding of product configuration rules, pricing logic, and sales quoting workflows.
- Experience managing SaaS or enterprise software projects with a physical product component.
- PMP, CSM, or other relevant certification is a plus.
