Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle CPQ Cloud Technical Consultant to join our project on a subcontract basis. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical understanding of the Oracle CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) platform and a proven track record of implementing, customizing, and maintaining complex CPQ solutions. Candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into robust technical designs and delivering high-quality solutions.Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Development: Design, develop, and implement custom solutions within the Oracle CPQ Cloud platform to meet business requirements. This includes configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- BML/BMQL Expertise: Write and maintain complex business logic using BigMachines Markup Language (BML) and BigMachines Query Language (BMQL) for pricing, validation, and advanced module rules.
- Customization & Scripting: Develop and troubleshoot custom scripts using JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML/CSS to enhance user interface (UI) and user experience (UX).
- Integration: Design and manage integrations between Oracle CPQ Cloud and other enterprise systems such as CRM (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle Sales Cloud) and ERP (e.g., Oracle Fusion, NetSuite) using SOAP and REST APIs.
- Data Management: Handle data table management, migrations, and data loading processes within the CPQ environment.
- Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize the performance of existing CPQ configurations and customizations to ensure system efficiency and scalability.
- Technical Support: Provide expert-level technical support for troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to the CPQ platform.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 5-8 years of hands-on technical experience with Oracle CPQ Cloud (formerly BigMachines).
Technical Proficiency:
- Expert-level knowledge of BML, BMQL, and Commerce rules.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and XML.
- Solid understanding of SOAP and REST web services for system integration.
- Product Modeling: Proven experience with complex product configuration modeling, including rules, pricing, and document generation (Doc Designer).
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and client stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle CPQ Cloud Certified Implementation Specialist.
- Experience with other Oracle CX Cloud products (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
