Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and provide superior financial planning and analysis to enable ongoing profitable growth. The primary operating businesses consist of - the design, manufacture and rental of suspended access systems - and – the maintenance and repair of wind turbines. There are several companies under the Sky Climber umbrella including www.skyclimber.com , www.skyclimberaccesssolutions.com and www.skyclimber-re.com . These are all privately held companies, based in Delaware, Ohio, and there are other assets and companies, domestically and internationally, in our portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies that support organizational growth and sustainability.
- Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, including preparation of accurate financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead budgeting processes, forecasting, and financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
- Implement and manage initiatives to optimize cash flow and working capital; manage cash, treasury, LOC, allocations, investments; primary interface with banks and other financial institutions
- Manage lender relationships and requirements contained within credit agreements, including financial reporting, cash forecasting, borrowing base, and covenant reporting.
- Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies to safeguard organizational assets and ensure compliance.
- Direct accounting functions such as general ledger management, account reconciliation, and corporate finance activities.
- Utilize advanced financial software tools to streamline operations and enhance reporting accuracy.
- Lead a high-performing finance team by providing mentorship, fostering organizational skills, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 12+ years of accounting and financial planning & analysis experience
- Preferred background - prior experience as CFO; CPA; strong cost accounting and audit skills; heavy banking and cash management; treasury management; and M&A experience
- Proficiency with financial software systems and general ledger accounting platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional leadership qualities with a track record of managing diverse teams and driving organizational success.
