Role & Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO/COO will serve as a key leader in developing and executing both financial and operational strategic objectives, encompassing:
Financial Leadership & Public Company Reporting
- Public Company Compliance: Lead and manage the accurate preparation and filing of all required SEC reports, including Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, and annual reports, ensuring strict adherence to NASDAQ and FINRA reporting standards.
- Strategic Finance: Spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive financial strategies that align with the ambitious goals of both companies, driving sustainable growth, innovation, and capital optimization.
- Capital Structure & Funding: Collaborate with senior leadership to manage funding options, optimize capital structure, and provide deep financial insight for potential mergers, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships.
- Performance Analysis and Reporting: Lead the preparation, analysis, and accurate reporting of financial statements and performance metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making at all levels.
- Investor Relations: Foster strong relationships with investors, analysts, and stakeholders, effectively conveying the financial vision, strategies, and results of both companies.
Operational Strategy & Performance
- Operational Transformation: Serve as a key leader in operations, developing and implementing strategies to transform and improve efficiency, quality, profitability, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Performance Metrics & KPIs: Design and implement a robust framework of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and analyze financial and operational performance, communicating performance clearly to the President and Board of Directors.
- Budgeting & Control: Develop the comprehensive annual budget in collaboration with the leadership team, and manage day-to-day operations rigorously to the established budget.
- Supply Chain Oversight (Functional): Work closely with operations leadership to improve the financial health and efficiency of procurement and supply chain functions, using a manufacturing lens to inform financial decisions aligned with market trends.
- Process Improvement: Establish best practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across finance and operational departments to ensure scalability and control during periods of fast-paced growth.
- Risk Management: Identify financial, regulatory, and operational risks, and develop and implement comprehensive strategies to mitigate them and ensure business continuity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- At least 1-3 years’ experience as a CFO or 5+ years in a senior financial leadership role (e.g., a controller), with essential knowledge in a publicly-traded company, preparing and filing of SEC and/or NASDAQ reports.
- Possess an understanding of manufacturing operations to drive financial and operational decisions effectively.
- Must be willing to relocate to and work on-site in Fort Pierce, Florida (no remote work).
- Exceptional financial acumen and strategic thinking, with a keen ability to drive business growth in the boating industry.

Salary Range:
$140,000 - $200,000
