Are you ready to step into a key executive leadership role and help drive the next phase of growth for a rapidly expanding construction company in the Stuart area?
A well-established and growing construction company is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. This is a high-impact, strategic role created to support rapid growth, strengthen financial reporting, and implement scalable systems as the business continues to expand toward ambitious revenue targets. Having recently opened a new division, and with ambitious plans to exceed $100M+ in revenue in 2026 a CFO with past experience scaling construction companies who can bring a growth mindset is very much essential.
As Chief Financial Officer you will report directly into the Owner and:
- Lead financial strategy, forecasting, and long-term planning aligned with company growth objectives
- Drive ERP implementation and system improvements, including migration from QuickBooks to Viewpoint / Trimble / Spectrum
- Oversee financial reporting, trend analysis, and performance metrics to support executive decision-making
- Manage budgeting, cash flow forecasting, cost control, and financial risk management
- Establish scalable financial processes and improve reporting automation
- Provide executive-level insights into profitability, project performance, and overhead management
- Oversee accounting operations and provide leadership and structure to the existing accounting team
- Partner directly with ownership to support strategic growth initiatives and operational scaling
- Assist with benefits planning and financial structuring as the company continues to evolve
Applicants must have:
- Proven CFO, VP Finance, or senior financial leader with construction industry experience (required)
- Strong background in financial reporting, forecasting, and executive-level strategic planning
- Experience working within growing construction organizations, ideally in scaling environments
- ERP implementation or migration experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Viewpoint, Trimble, Spectrum, or similar construction accounting systems highly desirable
- Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and transitioning financial systems
- Hands-on leadership style with strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in Stuart, FL (not a remote position)
