Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Merchant Cash Advance Industry
Location: Hallandale Beach, FL 33009

Our client, a fast-growing financial services company specializing in Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) transactions, helping small and mid-sized businesses access working capital through flexible, revenue-based financing solutions. Our focus is on delivering fast, reliable funding, while maintaining strong underwriting practices, compliance standards, and investor confidence.
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven CFO to lead the financial operations, strengthen risk management frameworks, and drive long-term profitability in a high-growth, data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership & Strategy:
- Oversee all financial functions including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and investor relations.
- Develop financial strategies that align with company growth objectives in the MCA sector.
- Partner with the CEO and executive team to drive profitability, scale funding programs, and attract capital partners.
Treasury & Capital Management:
- Manage liquidity, cash flow, and capital allocation to support MCA funding requirements.
- Oversee relationships with banks, private equity firms, and investors to secure financing lines and funding sources.
- Optimize collections and remittance structures to ensure healthy returns and investor confidence.
Risk & Compliance:
- Develop and monitor risk management frameworks specific to MCA transactions (default risk, repayment flows, merchant concentration).
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations governing alternative lending/financing.
- Oversee internal audits and implement robust internal controls to protect financial assets.
Operational Excellence:
- Implement scalable financial systems, reporting tools, and analytics to support underwriting, collections, and servicing teams.
- Monitor portfolio performance metrics (default rates, repayment trends, advance multiples) and deliver actionable insights.
- Lead cost control initiatives while identifying growth opportunities.
Leadership & Team Development:
- Build, mentor, and oversee the finance/accounting team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Act as a strategic advisor across departments to drive cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
- CPA or CFA designation is a plus.
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in MCA, fintech, alternative lending, or specialty finance.
- Strong understanding of MCA funding cycles, default risk, and repayment structures.
- Experience raising capital and managing investor relationships.
- Proven ability to manage complex financial models, risk frameworks, and compliance programs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
