A dynamic, mission-driven organization serving the affordable housing market is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its leadership team. The CFO will play a key strategic role, leading financial operations and partnering with executive leadership to drive sustainable growth, operational excellence, and long-term financial health—ideal for a forward-thinking leader committed to community impact and housing accessibility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead financial strategy, planning, and forecasting
- Oversee budgeting, reporting, audits, and compliance
- Manage cash flow, investments, and capital structures
- Ensure regulatory and funding compliance (grants, government programs, etc.)
- Provide financial insights to support organizational decision-making
- Develop and optimize financial systems and controls
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven executive-level financial leadership experience
- Strong background in financial management, reporting, and compliance
- Experience in affordable housing, real estate, nonprofit, or related sectors preferred
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical and leadership skills
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance required; Masters or CPA preferred.
- 10 to 15 years of related experience.
- Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License.
- Must be proficient in computer applications to include MS Office Suite. Yardi experience a plus.
