Overview
We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial operations of a fast-growing industrial and technology distribution company. The ideal candidate is both a financial strategist and a roll-up-your-sleeves operator — someone who thrives in a dynamic, high-volume environment and can bring structure, insight, and leadership to a complex global organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead all financial operations, including accounting, FP&A, treasury, audit, and tax
• Partner with executive leadership to drive profitability, working capital efficiency, and long-term growth strategy
• Oversee multi-entity, international financial reporting and compliance
• Build and mentor a strong finance and accounting team, instilling operational rigor and accountability
• Develop financial models, KPIs, and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making
• Manage banking, insurance, and investor relationships with an eye toward optimizing capital structure
• Drive system improvements and ERP integration to support scalable growth
Ideal Background
• 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 in a senior leadership role
• Proven success in a distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environment
• Strong command of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial controls
• Track record of leading through growth, transformation, or M&A activity
• CPA or MBA preferred
