We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with deep experience in private equity, debt financing, and corporate finance. The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and a trusted partner to the CEO and President, providing financial leadership to drive growth, optimize capital structure, and support value creation initiatives.
The ideal candidate has a track record of managing complex financial operations in a PE-backed environment, debt structuring, M&A execution, and investor relations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership
Partner with the CEO and President to define and execute strategic and financial objectives
Lead financial planning, scenario modeling, and value creation initiatives to support growth and investment strategies
Provide insights and recommendations on capital allocation, debt management, and operational improvements
Participate in M&A evaluation, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration
Direct the preparation of financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, forecasts, and budget-to-actual comparisons
Private Equity & Debt Management
Manage relationships with private equity owners, lenders, and other financial stakeholders
Lead debt financing initiatives, refinancing, and covenant management
Ensure timely and accurate reporting
Oversee equity and debt transactions, including capital raises and recapitalizations
Financial Operations & Controls
Ensure the integrity of financial reporting, compliance, and governance
Build and maintain strong internal controls and risk management frameworks
Oversee internal controls, lead audit processes and functions, tax compliance, adherence to regulations and regulatory reporting
Implement scalable systems, processes, and financial infrastructure to support growth
Manage cash flow, liquidity risks, and banking relationships
Team Leadership
Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team
Drive operational efficiency through process improvements, automation, and best practices
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and financial rigor
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
Ten plus years of senior financial leadership, including CFO experience in a PE-backed environment
Proven expertise in private equity transactions, debt structuring, and capital markets
Experience with M&A, operational improvement initiatives, and value creation strategies
Strong leadership, communication, and executive presence
