About Leap Health
Leap Health is one of the fastest-growing benefits solutions and a category-defining pioneer in employer specialty pharmacy. We are reshaping how life-changing therapies are delivered and financed, ensuring patients get the treatment they need while employers finally get a fair deal.
Specialty drugs and infusions represent nearly 10% of all healthcare spend and are the fastest-growing cost category for employers. Leap tackles this challenge with a novel approach: eliminating hidden markups, expanding access to high-quality infusion providers, and bringing clarity and fairness to how therapies are priced and paid for.
As one of the most innovative platforms in employer healthcare, Leap already partners with numerous Fortune 500 companies and leading health systems. Each patient we serve creates immediate ROI: lower costs, improved access, and better care. Join us as we redefine what’s possible in specialty care.
The Opportunity
Leap’s growth is powered by a world-class Client Deal Desk: the function that quantifies client value, underwrites pricing, and makes the case for Leap in the boardroom.
We’re seeking a Director, Business Operations to lead this engine. You will sit at the intersection of analytics, strategy, and sales, ensuring every prospective client has a clear, compelling, and quantified understanding of Leap’s impact. From initial savings estimates and pricing structure to the final client presentation, you will own the entire process.
This is a rare opportunity to build a high-leverage function at a category-defining company: part strategist, part storyteller, and part operator.
What You’ll Do
- Drive the deal desk: Lead how we estimate savings, underwrite pricing, and frame Leap’s financial value for employers.
- Tell the story: Translate rigorous analysis into concise, clear, and compelling narratives that resonate with CFOs, CHROs, and benefits leaders.
- Enable sales: Partner with commercial leads to equip them with boardroom-ready decks, tailored to each employer and broker audience.
- Elevate the methodology: Continuously refine our frameworks, visuals, and modeling approaches to stay best-in-class and scale with growth.
- Inform leadership: Surface insights from deal flow to guide pricing strategy, product priorities, and market positioning.
Who You Are
- Consulting-trained problem solver: 2-4 years at McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or equivalent (PE ringfence experience preferred), with 3-6 years of total experience.
- Detail-obsessed and rigorous: You bring precision to every analysis and know how to pressure-test assumptions.
- Executive storyteller: You instinctively think from the client’s perspective and can craft titles, takeaways, and decks that make complex ideas simple.
- Commercially minded: You’re energized by owning outcomes, not just building models.
- Collaborative and adaptable: You thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and enjoy creating clarity where none exists.
- Mission-driven: You want to use your skills to expand access to life-changing therapies while fixing one of the biggest cost challenges in healthcare.
