Arora Auto Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee all financial and accounting operations across our dealership network. The CFO will play a key leadership role in shaping the financial strategy, driving profitability, and supporting the continued growth of the organization. This individual will ensure financial integrity, operational efficiency, and compliance with all regulatory and manufacturer requirements, while leading a high-performing finance team dedicated to excellence and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute the group’s financial strategy in alignment with organizational goals and growth objectives.
- Provide strategic financial guidance and insights to the Dealer Principal and Executive Leadership Team.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for all dealership locations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to ensure sustainable profitability and operational efficiency.
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial statement preparation.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and transparent financial reporting for internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and Arora Auto Group policies.
- Manage external audits, banking relationships, and manufacturer financial submissions.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to all financial, tax, and legal requirements under federal, provincial, and municipal regulations.
- Oversee dealership compliance with OEM reporting, flooring audits, and financial covenants.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive governance, insurance coverage, and risk control measures.
- Manage relationships with financial institutions, lenders, auditors, and insurance providers.
Operational Support
- Partner with General Managers and Department Heads to evaluate dealership performance and implement financial improvements.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis for each department (New, Used, Service, Parts, and F&I).
- Support acquisitions, new dealership integrations, and expansion projects through due diligence and financial modeling.
- Optimize cash flow management, credit utilization, and dealership funding structures.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team to ensure accuracy, integrity, and continuous development.
- Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration across all departments.
- Develop and implement financial best practices and training to strengthen dealership-level financial operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: CPA designation (CA, CGA, or CMA) required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role within an automotive dealership group or retail organization.
