About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on, highly motivated Go-To-Market (GTM) Lead with a strong background in safety and security solutions, and a proven track record selling into the education and faith-based sectors.
This is not a supervisory role—this position is for a GTM leader with proven sales experience who wants to sell, build relationships, and own the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy focused on the education and non-profit markets
- Proactively identify new business opportunities through existing networks, outbound prospecting, and industry events
- Conduct high-impact presentations and demos tailored to each segment’s unique safety concerns and budget considerations
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and customer experience
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in client organizations, including executive leadership, operations, and security directors
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and CRM records
- Represent Gabriel at conferences, webinars, and industry forums
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in creating a successful GTM strategy, proving out the ideal sales model through trial and error and building GTM efforts from scratch (0-1).
- 6+ years of sales experience, including 3+ years selling physical security systems, emergency alert platforms, access control, or safety and preparedness solutions.
- A strong existing network and established credibility within education or other strong duty-of-care communities
- Proven ability to drive enterprise-level deals from prospecting to close without relying on SDR or inside sales support
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Deep understanding of the unique challenges and sensitivities of the sectors we serve
- Based in Metro Detroit, with willingness to travel regionally as needed
