Job Summary: As a Business Operations Associate, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the company. You will work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth and efficient business processes, enhance productivity, and contribute to the achievement of organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis: Collect and analyse data related to various business operations, identifying trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
2. Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and workflows, proposing and implementing enhancements to boost operational efficiency.
3. Documentation: Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), process manuals, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
4. Reporting: Prepare regular reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to management for informed decision-making.
5. Project Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects related to operations, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
6. Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory levels, coordinating with relevant departments to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
7. Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, negotiate contracts, and evaluate vendor performance.
8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements in all operational activities.
9. Customer Support: Provide support to the customer service team, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
10. Training: Assist in training new employees on operational processes and systems.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's / master’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field
2. Previous experience in business operations, process improvement, or a similar role preferred.
3. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel).
4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
