Modern Design Platform (MDP) is building the future of luxury interior design procurement — a curated B2B marketplace and specification engine for architects, designers, boutique hotels, and developers. We are live with our MVP and expanding fast, with an initial focus on premium digital wallpaper sales for contract projects, while growing our curated library of European furniture brands.
To support this next phase of growth, we’re seeking a Chief Sales Officer (CSO) to join our leadership team.
What You’ll Lead
● Collaborate on building and then managing MDP’s national sales network targeting design firms, hospitality groups, developers, and procurement teams
● Lead our wallpaper sales strategy, driving relationships with boutique hotels, design studios, and hospitality groups
● Develop sales systems, CRM strategy, funnel optimization, and repeatable processes
● Oversee strategic partnerships with project-driven clients
● Collaborate closely with Martha and the executive team on revenue strategy, demand generation, and client experience
● Help shape our commercial culture and contribute to our long-term vision of a truly modern design procurement ecosystem
● You’ll join an exceptionally strong leadership team
Who We’re Looking For
● Senior-level sales leader with deep experience in interior design, architecture, FF&E, digital wallpaper, hospitality, or luxury B2B
● Someone who thrives in startup environments and can build a sales org from scratch
● Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to shape a high-growth business
● Strong network in the design and hospitality industries
● Based in Miami or willing to relocate (we will have a physical office). Remote considered for exceptional candidates.
Compensation & Structure
This role follows the same model as other senior MDP appointments:
● Meaningful equity grant with performance-based vesting
● Limited early-stage salary, increasing at first financing milestones
● Long-term leadership path with significant upside at liquidity
Location: Miami preferred (hybrid/office), but remote considered
Reports to: Martha Prouty, Chief Growth Officer & Co-Founder
