Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced financial executive to lead our finance, accounting, investor relations, and strategic financial planning functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong public-company experience, including familiarity with NASDAQ operations. This individual will work closely with senior leadership to support organizational growth, ensure financial discipline and controls, and drive long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, forecasting, FP&A, treasury, tax, risk management, and compliance.
- Oversee public-company reporting requirements (NASDAQ-listed), SEC filings, audits, and internal controls.
- Partner with the CEO and business unit leaders on strategic initiatives such as M&A, capital raising, investor relations, and business modeling.
- Develop and monitor financial metrics, dashboards, and business unit P&Ls, translating results into actionable insights.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Ensure strong governance and compliance; manage external auditors; and coordinate activities with the Board Finance/Audit Committee.
- Drive process improvements, system enhancements (ERP, BI tools), and scale the finance function to support continued growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Approximately 10-15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including within a publicly traded (NASDAQ) company environment.
- Proven track record in strategic financial leadership, capital raising, M&A integration, and investor reporting.
- Strong technical expertise in GAAP, SEC/Reg-S-X, Sarbanes-Oxley, and audit processes.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to present effectively to the Board and investors.
- Preference for candidates comfortable working onsite 2-3 days per week in our Utah County office, with hybrid flexibility.
