Job Title: Director, Business Applications

Position Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Business Applications to lead the implementation, optimization, and support of enterprise business systems across the organization. This role will drive digital transformation initiatives, oversee product management and Agile delivery practices, and ensure seamless integration across all operational and corporate functions including Dealership Management Systems (DMS), ERP, and HRIS platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the enterprise applications strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational excellence.
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of systems supporting:
- Dealership Operations: Sales, CRM, Service, Parts, Accounting, and Digital Retailing
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P): Vendor management, purchasing, invoice processing, and payments
- Inventory Management: Parts and vehicle inventory tracking, replenishment, and valuation
- Record-to-Report (R2R): Financial close, general ledger, reporting, and compliance
- Hire-to-Retire (H2R): HRIS, payroll, onboarding, performance management, and employee lifecycle
- Oversee the performance and integration of platforms such as Reynolds and Reynolds, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and other ERP/HRIS systems.
- Build and lead a high-performing Business Applications and Product Management team, including analysts, developers, product owners, and project managers.
- Establish and scale Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative development cycles.
- Champion product management best practices, including product road-mapping, stakeholder engagement, and user-centric design.
- Drive large-scale transformation initiatives, ensuring successful delivery, adoption, and measurable business impact.
- Establish governance, best practices, and KPIs for application management, product development, and project execution.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement and technology enablement across departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in business applications leadership, with a strong background in DMS, ERP, or enterprise systems.
- Proven experience managing product management functions and implementing Agile methodologies at scale.
- Deep understanding of dealership operations and corporate business processes (procurement, finance, HR, inventory).
- Hands-on experience with Reynolds and Reynolds, CDK, or similar DMS platforms.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and related technologies.
- Demonstrated success in leading enterprise transformation projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: $200,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
