Salesforce CPQ & Billing Director
San Francisco, CA.
Long Term Contract.
Onsite role (all 5 days) from Day1.
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce CPQ & Billing Director to lead the strategy, optimization, and management of our Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) systems. This role owns the Salesforce CPQ & Billing platform, drives process improvements, and partners closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations to support scalable growth.
What You Ll Do
- Lead the roadmap, governance, and overall strategy for Salesforce CPQ & Billing
- Oversee design, configuration, and deployment of CPQ/Billing enhancements
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, RevOps, and IT to optimize Q2C processes
- Ensure data accuracy across products, pricing, quoting, contracts, orders, and invoices
- Manage integrations with ERP, CLM, and other key systems
- Lead and mentor a team of CPQ/Billing admins, analysts, and developers
- Drive system performance, automation, and best practices
What We Re Looking For
- 15 years Salesforce experience; 5+ focused on CPQ/Billing
- Strong understanding of pricing, quoting, subscriptions, renewals, invoicing, and revenue operations
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ configuration and Salesforce Billing workflows
- Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience integrating CPQ/Billing with ERP or financial systems
- Salesforce certifications (CPQ Specialist, Billing Specialist, Admin) preferred
Nice to Have
- SaaS or subscription-model experience
- Familiarity with CLM tools (Conga, DocuSign, etc.)
- Background in large system implementations or Q2C transformations
