The Role
As our CFO, you will serve as the financial architect of our aggressive rollup strategy, overseeing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and financial operations. This role is designed for a strategic leader with a passion for achieving extraordinary results, eager to shape an industry by driving exponential growth through swift and effective deal-making. You will partner with our accomplished leadership team to ensure disciplined execution and transformative expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all financial aspects of M&A, including diligence, structuring, negotiations, and integration.
- Develop and execute an aggressive capital strategy, including commercial lending and debt financing.
- Build scalable financial infrastructure, reporting, and governance to support a rapidly growing national platform.
- Drive EBITDA growth, capture synergies, and ensure disciplined financial execution.
- Prepare the company for a premium exit, including investor readiness, audited financials, and positioning for strategic or financial buyers.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience as a CFO, with a proven track record of closing multiple M&A transactions in rollups or similar high-growth ventures, with a focus on rapid deal execution.
- A relentless drive to achieve transformative success and build a legacy in a dynamic industry.
- Experience in the funeral industry or healthcare sector is strongly preferred.
- Professional experience with a Big 4 accounting firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG) is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in commercial lending, with a strong network of relationships with major lenders and a history of securing significant debt financing.
- Based in Texas or willing to relocate for in-person collaboration at our headquarters.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic, and leadership skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
