Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s financial strategy, ensuring fiscal discipline, and driving sustainable growth. This role is central to maintaining robust financial governance, operational excellence, and strategic foresight.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Advise the CEO and Board on financial planning, risk management, and investment opportunities.
- Lead mergers, acquisitions, and capital-raising initiatives.
- Champion long-term value creation through disciplined capital allocation and strategic investments.
Financial Governance & Compliance
- Establish and oversee a comprehensive financial governance framework that ensures transparency, accountability, and ethical stewardship of resources.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and manage relationships with auditors and financial institutions.
- Lead internal audit and compliance functions, including oversight of financial reporting integrity and regulatory adherence.
Financial Operations
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditures.
- Implement and monitor financial systems and controls to support operational efficiency and data integrity.
Risk Management
- Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor macroeconomic trends and regulatory changes to proactively adjust financial policies and practices.
- Safeguard organizational assets and ensure business continuity through robust risk frameworks.
Team & Systems Management
- Supervise the Vice President of Finance and Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Drive ERP optimization (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and ensure system alignment with governance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
- Proven track record in financial governance, strategic planning, and team leadership.
- Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in private equity, ESOPs, or high-growth environments.
- Familiarity with BOM, routings, costing, CTO, and inventory systems.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated success in leading financial transformation and governance initiatives.
Pay: $225,000.00 - $380,000.00 per year
