Our platform supports a full suite of investment loan products, including bridge, fix & flip, ground-up construction, DSCR rental loans, and luxury property loans.
To date, we’ve originated over $1.5B in loans and delivered ~100% year-over-year growth for five consecutive years. As we scale nationally, we’re looking for a proven sales leader to help turn this foundation into a category-defining, data-driven revenue engine and drive our next phase of expansion.
Role Overview
The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will lead YouLand’s nationwide revenue organization end-to-end, spanning Sales, Business Development, and Marketing. This role is both strategic and hands-on: responsible for setting the growth strategy, building scalable sales teams, deepening strategic partnerships, and aligning marketing and origination under one unified go-to-market engine.
You will report directly to the CEO and join the core executive team driving YouLand’s next phase of national expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & National Growth Strategy
- Architect and execute YouLand’s national revenue strategy to accelerate market penetration and multi-state expansion.
- Build, lead, and scale a high-performing sales organization across key U.S. markets.
- Oversee Marketing and Business Development to ensure cohesive positioning, pipeline generation, and conversion.
- Set clear KPIs for acquisition, conversion, unit economics, and growth, and manage rigorously to those metrics.
- Partner closely with Product, Credit, and Operations to refine offerings, strengthen market fit, and remove friction from the loan lifecycle.
Business Development & Partnerships
- Develop and negotiate high-impact partnerships with national brokerage networks, regional banks, private banking, construction firms, and developers
- Identify and open new distribution channels (referral networks, platforms, aggregators) that can materially grow volume.
- Serve as an industry-facing ambassador for YouLand—representing the company at conferences, investor summits, and sector roundtables.
Team Building & Enablement
- Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performance team of Account Executives, Relationship Managers, and Regional Sales Leaders.
- Design incentive and compensation plans that drive performance, retention, and alignment with company goals.
- Elevate team performance by implementing sales playbooks, CRM discipline, sales automation, and modern GTM tooling (dialer, sequencing, analytics).
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in mortgage, private lending, or commercial real estate finance.
- Proven track record of scaling sales organizations from regional to national (or from startup/scale-up to meaningful national footprint).
- Strong network across banks, brokers, private lenders, and real estate investment firms.
- Deep understanding of credit, lending products, and the full loan lifecycle (origination, underwriting, closing, servicing).
- Experience integrating sales and marketing under unified revenue leadership.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills; comfortable as a public-facing executive.
- Entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable owning both strategy and execution in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
- Bonus: prior experience in AI-enabled fintech / lending platforms.
Compensation
- Competitive base salary: $300K-$350K
- Performance-based bonus / commission: tied to loan volume, margin, and team performance KPIs.
