Business Operations Manager

As Business Operations Manager, you will take full ownership of the company's backend processes and support functions, enabling the Founder & CEO to focus on strategic growth, deal delivery, and senior recruitment. This is a hands-on, varied role covering finance, HR, property, compliance, IT, and supplier management. The role requires a breadth of experience and a willingness to tackle new areas with a high degree of diligence and tenacity. You will proactively manage all operational issues, drive improvements, and ensure the business runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be trusted to use your initiative, judgement, and breadth of experience to solve problems, anticipate needs, and deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal supervision.

Requirements
- Experience running or supporting a small business across finance, HR, payroll, operations, compliance, and IT
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Comfortable coordinating outsourced suppliers managing contracts, and cost control
- Experienced in all areas of finance including credit management and cash flow forecasting
- Experience dealing with HR issues, systems management and improvement
- High levels of integrity, trustworthiness, and discretion
- Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-focused approach to work
- Able to use initiative and demonstrate sound judgement
- Comfortable with technology and evolving business systems with experience of process improvement
