Sales Operations Executive – M&A Deal Sourcing

$90k-$120k ($170k OTE)

Our client is a software holding company focused on acquiring and operating long-standing software companies. Backed by approximately $20M in committed capital, the firm targets mission-critical software businesses with strong track records. The founders bring prior experience in artificial intelligence and software M&A. One of the founders previously built and sold a venture-backed startup in the AI computing space.
The Role
The Sales Operations Executive – M&A Deal Sourcing will own the systems, tooling, and outbound processes used to identify and engage software company founders. This role blends outbound execution with technical sales operations, supporting consistent, high-quality deal flow.
Necessary Requirements
- 3+ years in sales operations, outbound growth, deal sourcing, or similar roles
- Strong expertise in cold outreach systems, deliverability, and compliance
- Technically comfortable with CRMs, enrichment, automation and AI tools (HubSpot preferred)
- Excellent written communication skills for founder- and CEO-level outreach
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage outbound outreach to founders, CEOs, and owner-operators
- Add qualified leads to existing database, while leveraging company’s proprietary AI tool
- Execute multi-channel campaigns with tailored, professional messaging
- Own email deliverability, domain setup, and compliance (CASL, CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
- Manage CRM and automation workflows (HubSpot, Apollo, Clay, Zapier/Make, etc.)
- Track and report on outreach and pipeline performance; continuously optimize campaigns
