PURPOSE
The Sales Operations & Pricing Analyst plays a dual role, combining core sales operations responsibilities with ownership of pricing governance and customer profiling. This position supports the North American team through data analytics, reporting, process optimization, pricing execution, and cross-functional collaboration. The analyst ensures accurate program execution, consistent and strategic pricing executions, and provides actionable insights to empower the sales team to win in the market.
Key Responsabilities
Sales Analytics & Reporting
- Develop, maintain, and automate dashboards and reports (sales performance, category trends, sell-through metrics).
- Analyze sell-through data to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging trends.
- Deliver weekly and monthly reports for Sales Managers.
Customer Profiling & Segmentation
- Categorize customers based on sales programs eligibility, performance, channel type, and qualification criteria.
- Maintain and update customer profiles to ensure accurate discounts, incentives, and program alignment
- Collaborate with Sales to assign customers to appropriate tiers and benefit structures.
- Monitor program compliance, track exceptions, and identify opportunities to optimize customer segmentation.
Pricing Governance & Execution
- Own and execute pricing files, discount structures, and program pricing across customer tiers.
- Ensure timely and accurate implementation of pricing changes in ERP, CRM, and related systems.
- Validate pricing and discounts with customer profiles, contracts, and sales programs.
- Support annual pricing cycles, promotional programs, and in-season adjustments.
- Investigate pricing discrepancies and collaborate with Sales and Finance to resolve issues and improve consistency.
Process & Systems Optimization
- Enhance efficiency of sales processes, pricing workflows, and customer data management.
- Document processes, create SOPs, and support tool enhancements and automation initiatives.
Sales Support
- Prepare account-level analysis for Account Managers (performance reviews, category breakdowns, assortments).
- Support go-to-market launch planning, including internal tools, sell-in materials, and readiness documents.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and insights to internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Leadership).
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field.
- 1-3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Pricing, or Business Analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with Excel proficiency (lookups, pivots, models).
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP platforms and program/pricing structures.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex data in clear, actionable terms.
