Job Summary

The Manager, Sales Operations will be responsible for optimizing the effectiveness of the sales organization through strategic planning, operational efficiency, and data-driven insights. This role will work closely with sales leaders, marketing, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.

This is a remote position in the United Kingdom.

What You'll Do

Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Partner with sales leadership to develop and refine sales strategies.
- Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
Operational Efficiency:
- Design and manage sales workflows, policies, and tools to enhance productivity.
- Ensure the CRM system (i.e. Salesforce) is used effectively and aligned with business needs.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze sales performance metrics and generate actionable insights.
- Create and maintain sales dashboards and reports for leadership review.
Process Improvement:
- Identify gaps in sales processes and recommend improvements.
- Lead initiatives to automate and streamline sales operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Liaise with marketing to ensure alignment on lead generation and qualification.
- Work with finance to track sales compensation and revenue recognition.
Training & Support:
- Provide training and support to the sales team on tools, policies, and processes.
- Act as the point of contact for resolving operational issues impacting the sales team.

What You'll Bring

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, preferably in a software/SaaS company.
- Proven track record of managing sales processes and tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRMs.
Skills:
- Expertise in administration and management of Salesforce CRM.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with software sales cycles, especially B2B or SaaS.
- Understanding of sales methodologies, sales progression & sales stages, and forecasting.
