The Opportunity
Join TNT Growth as a Business Operations Manager at the intersection of HR, finance, IT, and general operations. You’ll be proactive, detail-oriented, and dependable, owning core operational functions to keep the business running smoothly as we scale. This role partners with leadership to optimize systems, processes, and tools - ensuring our people, processes, and technology are aligned for growth.
What Success Looks Like
You’ll identify and implement process improvements that drive efficiency across operational workflows, reduce risk, and enable scalable growth. You’ll manage confidential information with discretion and handle multiple priorities across cross-functional teams.
Our ideal candidate is a builder at heart—deeply passionate about cross-functional program management and skilled in strategic planning and bringing a mindset grounded in client-centricity, operational excellence, and results-driven execution.
- Leadership has clear, reliable visibility into capacity, utilization, and resourcing at all times.
- Hiring, staffing, and budget decisions are grounded in modeled demand rather than reactive needs.
- Revenue forecasts align with delivery capacity and operational reality.
- Client commitments are realistic, achievable, and consistently met.
- Service delivery is predictable, scalable, and requires fewer escalations or fire drills.
- Teams understand ownership, handoffs, and expectations across functions.
- Capacity constraints and delivery risks are identified early and addressed proactively.
- Operational initiatives are launched on time, adopted by teams, and sustained.
- Planning cadences (monthly, quarterly) are consistent and inform decision-making.
- Leadership trusts operational insights and proactively engages Ops in planning discussions.
- The organization scales without creating process debt, burnout, or execution breakdowns.
Responsibilities
- Act as an early-warning system for leadership by synthesizing operational, delivery, capacity, and utilization signals into clear insights, risks, and opportunities, including surfacing issues leadership may not yet be aware of.
- Own the end-to-end capacity and utilization operating model, translating service offerings and revenue plans into resourcing requirements, and partnering with Finance, Analytics, and Engineering to ensure models are accurate, scalable, and maintained.
- Interpret capacity, utilization, and demand data to drive decisions, proactively identifying constraints and misalignment between revenue plans and delivery capacity, clearly outlining tradeoffs, risks, and recommended actions such as hiring, rebalancing, scope changes, or prioritization shifts.
- Own and optimize end-to-end service delivery operations across teams, ensuring work flows predictably from intake through execution, QA, and delivery across Client Success, Growth, Creative, Analytics, and Engineering.
- Monitor delivery health across accounts and teams, proactively surfacing execution risks and systemic bottlenecks, handoffs, or standards.
- Own and evolve the company’s operating system, including processes, tools, workflows, SOPs, playbooks, and operating cadences, to support scale and reduce ambiguity.
- Act as a strategic partner to leadership, translating operational data into clear, actionable decision support and pushing back when plans are operationally unrealistic.
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes as the business, services, and team structure evolve.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Business Operations, Operations Management, or a related role at a fast-paced company.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while working cross-functionally across teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders.
- Experience managing internal systems, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations is a plus.
- Strong background in process design and improvement, including mapping current-state processes, designing future-state solutions, and translating them into executable roadmaps.
- Experience with project governance and cross-functional program management, including defining milestones, ownership, and accountability across teams.
Nice to Haves
- Strong deck-building skills, with the ability to communicate complex operational concepts clearly and succinctly to leadership.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, including building and interpreting models to support capacity, utilization, and planning decisions.
- Experience partnering with Analytics, Finance, or Engineering teams to define requirements for data models and dashboards.
- Familiarity with operational metrics, forecasting, and performance tracking in a services or agency environment.
- Experience supporting scaling organizations through periods of rapid growth or change
This Role Is Not for You If…
- You prefer clearly defined tasks over ambiguous problems that require judgment and structure.
- You expect to be handed fully built models rather than translating business needs into requirements for others to implement.
- You are uncomfortable pushing back on leadership or surfacing capacity, resourcing, or delivery risks.
- You primarily identify as a project coordinator rather than an operator who owns outcomes.
- You struggle to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- You avoid cross-functional work or find stakeholder management draining.
- You prefer optimizing within one function rather than operating across the business.
- You are uncomfortable making tradeoffs when resources, timelines, or expectations conflict.
- You need perfect information before making recommendations.
- You are looking for an “office ops” or administrative role.
