Deal Desk Analyst

This role is Remote, United States

As a Deal Desk Specialist, you will be an integral member of our sales operations team, supporting our sales organization by facilitating the creation and management of private offers within leading Cloud Marketplaces, including Microsoft Azure and AWS. You will collaborate closely with sellers to enable smooth, timely, and accurate deal execution, ensuring our customers receive a seamless purchasing experience

In this role you will..

Create private offers through Tackle.io for third-party marketplaces such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Utilize Tackle.io to manage, track, and report on private offer workflow and statuses.
Collaborate with other support teams (i.e. legal, finance) to review commercial terms, validate pricing proposals, and ensure bookings policy compliance.
Ensure private offers are pre-approved and compliant with bookings policy prior to submission
Identify and communicate opportunities to streamline and improve private offer processes.
Monitor and report on private offer metrics, proactively addressing roadblocks to improve marketplace sales velocity.
Provide additional support to the broader Deal Desk and Order Validation teams during peak periods or as business needs dictate, ensuring consistent operational coverage across functions.
Take ownership of ad hoc projects as assigned, contributing to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within Sales Operations.

You’ve got what it takes if you have..

2+ years of experience in a Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Sales Support, or similar role within a SaaS or Cloud-focused organization.
2+ years Hands-on experience with Tackle.io and Salesforce CRM and CPQ; familiarity with Cloud Marketplaces (Azure, AWS, GCP) is required.
Solid understanding of pricing fundamentals and experience reviewing or administering pricing proposals.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and a process improvement mentality
Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment

The starting salary for the successful applicant will depend on several job-related factors, including education, training, experience, certifications, location, business needs, and market demands.
