Job Title: Chief of Staff to the Chief Financial Officer
Location: Seattle, WA
Job Summary: The Chief of Staff to the CFO will serve as a trusted right-hand to the Chief Financial Officer, supporting a fast-paced, best-in-class Finance Department. This role will enable the CFO to effectively and efficiently lead a wide range of priorities for the organization, the CEO, President, Board of Directors, and other internal and external stakeholders. This is a highly strategic and facilitative role that requires robust background in finance principles and processes, excellent written and verbal communication skills, natural self-motivation, flexibility, strong analytical ability, excellence in project management, and high attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Assist the CFO in setting the strategic direction for the Finance organization. Promote alignment of priorities, initiatives, and spend to vision and strategic direction.
- Project Management: Facilitate special CFO-initiated projects, creating and adhering to timelines, helping execute the deliverables, and ensuring accountability to accomplish key objectives.
- Communication: Develop and manage executive and organizational-level communications (internal and external). Work effectively with executives and across all levels of the organization to promote ongoing alignment across stakeholder groups.
- Operational Support: Ensure the CFO's time is leveraged effectively by engaging the right participants, setting the agenda, and ensuring the CFO is well prepared.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and leadership, elevating insights and analysis on company operations, key management decisions, and other areas.
- Leadership Effectiveness: Maintain the pulse of the organization and leadership team, design/management of feedback, and partner with key constituents on Company-wide initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior work experience in a Finance leadership role strongly preferred.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; experience working with senior leadership teams.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for this position is $178,000 to $218,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
