Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our organization’s financial operations. The CFO will oversee all financial aspects, including accounting, budgeting, financial planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance. This executive role requires a deep understanding of corporate finance, market analysis, and financial software to support sustainable growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical accounting expertise, and a proven track record in strategic financial management within complex organizations, including non-profit sectors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions, including financial reporting in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, IAS, ASC 606, and COSO standards.
- Manage budgeting processes, expense control, cost management, and cost analysis to optimize profitability.
- Lead revenue management initiatives and revenue cycle management to maximize income streams.
- Conduct risk analysis and manage risk mitigation strategies across financial operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and maintain adherence to SOX regulations.
- Oversee treasury management activities including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships.
- Lead mergers & acquisitions activities, including due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for senior leadership and board review; interpret complex financial data for strategic decision-making.
- Supervise financial software systems and ensure accurate data entry and reporting capabilities.
- Manage internal controls in line with COSO framework; oversee audit processes and tax accounting functions.
- Collaborate on business development initiatives by providing financial insights for new ventures or market expansion efforts.
- Lead a team of finance professionals; foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Experience
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive within large or complex organizations; experience in non-profit accounting is highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of financial concepts such as profit & loss analysis, revenue cycle management, cost control, and fiscal management.
- Strong background in regulatory compliance including SOX, IFRS, IAS standards; experience with ASC 606 is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in mergers & acquisitions, business development, and strategic planning.
- Proficiency with financial modeling software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data for strategic decision-making.
- Leadership experience supervising finance teams; skilled in negotiation and stakeholder engagement.

Pay: $93,809.36 - $112,974.72 per year
