The Channel Sales Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of the Channel Sales Team and the Channel Partner Ecosystem, ensuring Channel Partners are rewarded judiciously for their sales performance and ultimately contributing to business growth.
Roles and responsibilities
• Maintain and monitor channel partner performance data on a quarterly and annual basis, including managing channel rebate & incentive programs.
• Oversee the management of Channel Partner Sales Portal on Sales Force, ensure data integrity and help channel partners imbibe best practices. Manage Deal Registrations and ensure proper hygiene in the system.
• Collect, clean, and analyze sales data from various sources, creating reports and dashboards to track performance metrics and identify trends, including preparing sales forecasts and pipeline data management.
• Work closely with channel partners and internal sales teams, finance and operations teams to streamline processes and enhance overall sales performance.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field is typically required
• 5+ years of proven work experience as a Sales Operations Specialist or in a similar role in a leading IT MNC OEM or Distributor, with a strong understanding of sales performance metrics.
• Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel forda ta analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with a detail oriented mindset to identify areas for improvement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams and present findings.
