Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a PE-Backed B2B Services business, on an ambitious Buy & Build journey. In search of a dynamic and commercially minded Chief Financial Officer to work alongside the CEO in designing and delivering a growth strategy aimed at significantly scaling EBITDA through a combination of organic expansion and targeted acquisitions.
This is a rare opportunity to join at the outset of a transformative journey, establishing the financial infrastructure from scratch and working hand‑in‑hand with key stakeholders to build a best‑in‑class platform. The CFO will be instrumental in shaping the group’s financial architecture, integrating acquisitions, and ensuring that governance, reporting, and systems are robust enough to support rapid growth.
This role is a well suited to a finance leader who thrives in entrepreneurial, fast‑paced environments and relishes the challenge of building, integrating, and scaling businesses.
The ideal candidates:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA)
- Proven track record as the lead finance executive in a PE‑backed business, ideally within a Buy & Build environment, with hands‑on M&A integration and post‑deal optimisation experience
- Strong analytical capability, commercial acumen, and technical expertise with meticulous attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate at pace and drive meaningful change
